I don't know if this has been said before, but I would like clubs that approach you for a managers job to have to get the clubs permission first before offering you the job to be implemented in the game.
Whether the request was accepted or rejected could then bring up a media piece etc and I think would add to the realism of the game. It could force you to re-think your future leading to a possivle resignation or you could try and re-negotiate a new contract with a higher transfer fund if you showed loyalty etc?
It's fine in theory, but for the people that like to start unemployed and work their way up I can see it being severely limiting.
On the other hand, I guess that could easily be overcome with a quitting to take a break from football option and then appearing at the new club days later.

i would also want a reason for me to want to have a higher wages as a manager
because if ur not actually receiving the wages then getting £500p/w instead of 30,000 wouldnt mean anything whereas irl it would
understand?
