I want a new contract.

I'm playing as Tottenham in my second season and my contract is up at the end of the season.

I requested a new opn ein January and the board says 'they hope to be in a position to offer you a new contract soon'.

It's got to April, anmd I just got a news item saying 'Tottenham could lose Jameson, they want him to stay but fear he may not sign a new contract'.

Any ideas how I can make my plea to stay ? I'm on the latest patch.

Request a new one again, they may be planning to offer you a new one in the near future anyway.

the option to request a new one is greyed out.

Hopefully I will get a new one!

You WILL get offered one. Just be patient, even if it does go into the last week of your contract.

I'm not so sure about that.. the Everton board failed to renew my contract after the 2011/12 season. My finishing positions were 8th, 4th, 3rd, 4th, 5th. I only stated Euro qualification as my ambition before each of the seasons. Luckily, Lazio came in for me on 2nd July, and I'm now top of Serie A in mid Feb of my first season with them.

same happened to me, and board answer was the same, then got sacked..
