There's a League Fines tab in the expenses menu. How are those triggered

i'd imagine it would be when you keep moaning about decisions that the referees make against your team, sendings off, disallowed goals, penalty claims and the such like and the league eventually fines you i think thats what its for

maybe you'll get league fines for a high disciplinary record although am not sure with that one

That was definately in one of the (very) older ones.

Yes you can be fined by your league for a poor disciplinary record at the end of the season.
