Default slow on the apple mac

Anyone with a mac found that it doesnt run as well as windows? this is the only application ive got which runs slow compared to a PC. Match days are especially slow. Do i need to configure any settings?

what are the specification of the mac? i.e. processor clock speed, ram, hard drive capacity remaining (%)?

Apple POWERBOOK G4-1.67Ghz Processor 512MB Memory 120GB Hard Drive SuperDrive 15'' screen (not that that matters)" Airport Xtrem. i use the system mainly for music production. i have 38gb remaining on the system.

Any ideas?

Although I'm no expert, I would suggest that you add at least 512 MB RAM. Also the processor is maybe a tad bit slow....

I'm on a macbook with 20 or so leagues going and i havn't noticed any slowdown, my guess is your 512 ram mate.

you deff need at LEAST 2Ghz mate i run it on ma laptop (2Ghz and 750 ram) perfect

Pretty sure the game will us all processor cores available to it, so a Core 2 Duo would certainly be faster than the single-core equivalent.

I don't think you upgrade you processor, but more RAM would definitely help. It's easy to upgrade, the RAM slots are (depending on your model) either underneath you keyboard (if so, it can easily be lifted up) or behind a lid underneath the computer.
