I noticed something when playing around with my formation and then the team report. First, look at these two pictures and look at the "star rating" for DMC Andrea Luci.
(First off, it's the same whether he's placed as the left or right sided DMC. He's "Unconvincing" for AMC, MR and ML. No wing back rating. Natural DMC and MC. Player instructions are the same in both cases)
Now my question is fairly obvious; Why does he have a 5 star rating when placed centrally as DMC, but not when I have two DMCs? And more importantly, is it just an issue with the report, or would he do a better job if in the centre? I'm leaning towards the former, but would like a definitive answer.
FWIW, my assistant rates him with 5 stars in the coach report, saying he believes him to play best as a DM but is equally adept as MC.
Yes I'm well aware of that. The point though is that in both cases it's a tactic with a back four, 2 DMCs, one MC, two AMCs and a striker. Meaning that it should be the same 11 players selected by the assistant manager (Which there are), and that since they're all in the same positions they should have the same ratings. Which they do, except that one player is rated higher as a DMC than as a DMCR/L, for no obvious reason.
So I'm asking why would a player be rated differently when set as the central DMC rather than on the right/left side?
Oddly enough though, now he rates him the same in both positions.
