Right for the most part I think this is still a good game and I do enjoy it.

Having said that, the more I play it the more I notice 'issues'.

Every important game (Cup semi finals, games against teams close to me in the league, etc) I have, one of the following will always (yes, always) happen:

One of my otherwise solid defenders (good consistency stat, good 'important matches' stat) who always have good games will play like **** and get a 5 out of 10 at half time. I'll sub him, and the sub will also get a 5.

I'll concede and early goal and then my otherwise deadly strikers won't be able to hit the side of a bus for the rest of the game.

9 out of 10 opposition keeper. Mine plays crap and I lose 1-0.

If I dare to say ANYTHING in reply to a media comment from another manager I will lose. Guaranteed 100%.

or......

I absolutely batter the opposition and win about 4-0 or something!! :cool:

At some point I'd love to scrape a 1-0 with a late goal or something because at the moment 'big' games just feel so...fake.

Oh and another thing.....which has carried over form 07 actually.

When a team plays 4-1-4-1 against me, my strikers always seem to become really inaccurate. They make chances, they're just all off target.

Hmmm....

Well the way i see it, you have 3 choices:

1) Stick with 8.0.1 untill the next patch comes out.
2) Use the Beta patches
3) Give up on the game and put it back on the shelf
