DanShan is infamous around these parts
Default Game will not start
Having installed FM2008 i was able to play but when i exited and tried to log back in i wasn't able to.
When i click on the icon I get a window sayin windows cannot open the file and when I search online for a file that may be able to open it the result comes back blank. Any suggestions?

Uninstall and re-install the game, update to the latest patch.

Have you moved anyfiles around or overwritten any?

It looks like you have moved or deleted the .exe file and the game cannot locate the correct file to execute and so is looking for a programme that will open the shortcut rather than the target.

One more thought, relocate the .exe file and create a new shortcut and delete the faulty shortcut.

That should sort your problem
