Default New career: fm 07 or fm 08?

I am about to start a a new career, I own both 07 and 08. Which game would you advise to start a long career with AT THIS MOMENT. I hear so many bad stories about youth development in 08 and the match engine that it maybe is better to play 07 still. Is there any truth in these stories? Is the game that unplayable in the future? Is it true that players don't develop? I haven't played 08 for that long yet after patch 801, so I can't really judge.

I think there are beautiful skins for 08 and if things work as they should this game is probably better than 07. 07 however is fully patched and has been received very well after the patches. Which game would you start a current career with?

Yes, I think I will start a new career with 08. If there is a new patch I will just put it over my save game if I have one great save. We should look forward after all.

well, i think the best game is FM07 fully patched its just great.

But im currently playing as Boreham Wood(fm08)
im in the year 2025, and the players do develope. and there are good youngsters in my game.
Here are some of my players who have progressed into world class players:
Guerro
Clark
Furlan
Pettersen
Mendes

On the other hand, it affects every team so maybe it isn't a real problem if it somewhat low. I wonder how people in long 08 careers experience their game?

i think the fitness is fine.. i havent had any players beeing jaded or anything the last 10 years.

My problems are with the match engine and the board confidence.. but its not "huge problems" as without the patch.
Other than that im enjoying the game

I think KaNovi's screenshots underline the real problem with the development of regens. And that is that, although they get good technical and mental attributes their physical attributes are usually too low.

Because of this you'll have very few players with pace and acceleration above 15 in the future years.

I'd be interested to know if there were many regens in KaNovi's game with good physical attributes.
