I have just started a game with Lazio and my nationality is set to English and second Irish. However, when I send a scout to North America, for example, their knowledge improves but my doesn't. If for instance I was to buy a player from Wales would it increase my knowledge, as in my game ALex Ferguson has knowledge of Trinidad and Tobago from the Dwight YOrke transfer.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You can share knowledge with other managers who you are friend with, so for example if you make friends with Arsene Wenger you will gain a bit of French knowledge.

You can gain scouting knowledge from

1. Nationality

2. Second nationality

3. Favourite team

4. Positive relationships with other managers

5. Positive relationships with players.

Oh, yes. I was buddies with Fulham's manager when they were my parent, then they got relegated and he got fired. His new job was in Turkey, and I woke up one day with a half-bar of Turkey knowledge.



... now if I could just figure out how to get the dumb birds to stop looking up when it's raining ...

you can also do it by attending matches in other countrys, just go to a teams who's match you would like to watch, then look at their fixtures and click on the date the you will see a list of matches on that date then click on the V btween the team you want to watch play and their opposition.
