i've been reading about using a skin and don't understand how to use one, could some one please help me.

Assuming that you've downloaded a skin, you need to put it in the below:

CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\skins

Then when you go into preferences in the game you'll see the "display & sound" page. At the top will be "window settings" and the name of the current skin your using. The dropdown list should show the skin you've just placed in the above folder. Select it and then make sure you've got "always reload skin on confirm" ticked. Your new skin should then display after a minute or so.

hi i d what you said i turned the che off but still there is no skin can you give me a download that 100 percent works so i can see if the download is the problem

Download the following skin and drop the "bbcsportskin" in your main skins folder. This skin installed for me. When I first installed '07 I deleted the cache folder in CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data like you needed to in '06. See if that makes a difference...
