If I was to put all the real player pictures into the regen folder, would my regens come back with a random player face from the folder?

I will probably replace the ones that are in there. Thanks.

Yes, new regens will be allocated a random face when they are introduced into the game.

If you want to add your new pics you need to make sure they are in .png format.

The easiest way to do this is to open the original regen picture in paint and then paste over it with your preferred pic. Of course, I'd recommend making a backup copy of your graphics before trying it though...

What I did was grab a load of the pics from other teams from around the world (used a lot of Gillsman's pics). And then renamed them (same as the regen pic) and overwrote every regen pic. I tried match pics as best I could.

The other thing I did was create a new folder and config.xml file specifically for Freds (not regens). I created (but you probably could download of one the FM sites) a load of 'legend' pics i.e. Shearer etc. Then when I get player promoted to youth team who I want to keep - I updated the config file with the ID number.

By the way, if you want create your own images and use Photoshop - download Ter's Photoshop action (it is in this section of the forum). It makes creating the images very easy then save as PNG.
