im trying to alter the clubs transfer budget and balance, but it wont work! any ideas? great advice by the way!

Although ive never tried to alter a clubs budget etc, im pretty sure you have to remove all bank loans etc, then try and put a sensible amount in e.g. 50mill and use the old trial and error method again.
Im not sure wether or not the game creators built in a max level of transfer fundage that a club could have.
You dont see Chelsea having a Billion pound pot do you?

ur right
you can remove all loans. the highest budget iv put it up to that worked was 150 million. you can also set the transfer budget available.

Thats the original data file. With all the players etc that came with the game.

Do u follow? It doesnt have any updates on it, thats why, when you make changes, you have to add your file, (as explained at the top of this page) in order to make your changes effective.

Just follow what ive said "word for word" and you shouldnt have any problems

followed you word for word mate and it just aint working. am not getting the choice when i start new game i do not get to choose which database to have. just aint working.

Ok, when you are dragging your new file into the window i mentioned, try dragging it directly on top of the file "700", thus adding your updates directly into the original file.

See if that works, ive never done it before though.

Please note, if you do choose to try this method and it doesnt work you will have to take the game off your computer and re-install it.
This is because you are directly changing the original file and it COULD become corrupt
