Hi!

I have faced a couple of problems in editing the game database.

I'm looking for a way to control the huge game database with a powerful way which would allow me to delete several players with one command and such. I wonder if it's possible to create or delete players with ddt or edt files. If possible, how can I open a .dat file with Microsoft Access, for instance?

My second question concerns player first names and family names. How are they generated? Does the game use some external files or does it just randomly pick a name of a player in the database? In case it uses an external file, I'd be more than thankful if someone could tell me how to edit these name lists.

The names are in the server.db file. They are picked semi-randomly. It uses all names of the language used by that country, with it leaning more towards names by country and how common it is in the database.

ie. say you pick England, and the name Dave appears in game 10 times and Martin appears 7 times, it is more likely to use Dave than it is Martin.

Is there an editor to edit the file including the name lists?

No, you have to edit the name frequency using a hex editor.
