Well for some odd reason the editor hates my guts =/
It runs smoothly and fine for a few minutes, then it goes insane and lags itself and the rest of my computer down.
I went into the Process tree and noticed it was using nothing less than 350MB of memory, this kinda shocked me. Is this normal?
I also tried to change the priority from Normal to HIGH on the process. This only helped for about a few minutes, and now its even worse...
My Specs:
Windows XP Home Edition SP2 latest build.
1.5GHZ Intel Centrino Mobile
512MB RAM
60GB HD (30gb currently Free)
Swapfile at 3GB
120MB ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9600/9600 series
Version of FM2007 7.0.2
I could need some help, as this editor seems to be eating up my memory and causing me to having to reboot quite often...
The editor loads the entire database, which is over 250mb. If you don't have the RAM to cover this and everything else, including Windows and the editor(you gotta remember, Windows itself eats a lot of RAM) you will not get good performance from it and your computer will struggle.
Just wanted to add that I did some tweaking in the swapfile, memory devision and such and now the editor works without problem.
So... 521MB is enough to run this editor successfully
Today I made a small but working Legends Database, With me being slightly biased towards Zizou of course. I made about 15 players, edited clubs, history etc etc. And during this time the editor worked fine.
So, thanks for the answers, but please, answer truthfully next time.
Actually the saving takes less than a minute =/ And the loading is even faster, and I really don't have a problem with that. Anyway, sorry if I offended you. Meant no offense.
