FM WeeGiE Update (30/05/07)

Weegie (or anyone else), would you be able to help me out - I'm struggling to get my head around getting it installed.

I've extracted the update folder [FM WeeGie Summer Update] to the same folder as the other two databases [C

Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\db], but when I load the game I am not offered any choice of updates, it just loads the original database.

I'm assuming it has something to do with this idea of pasting the folder into 'My Documents', but I'm running Vista which doesn't use a My Documents folder...any tips? Cheers.

FigoIsGod - Next Update is this friday at 6pm BST, we dont change player stats so he probably wont be any better but feel free to do it yourself

Coolcam666 - Ive actually reduced the budget by £10m for next release but it should be a fairly decent estimate of what we will have.

A.L - I dont know why they only have £1.6m, as when i did the budgets last month they should of had £12m when i did them. Ah well we hate the mackems

Disconosebleed - Have you removed the file inside the FM WeeGiE folder after you extracted it. The best thing to do is dowload to desktop, extract the file then click on it then copy the file inside into my documents/Fm/db

I got the june 1st one from your forums and they had 1.2m for some reason unless i mis-read.

We have decided to release this weeks update early and we hope to have it out tonight. Please visit our forums where the update will be exclusive to the WeeGiE Forums. You have to be a registered member with an activated account to download but registration takes 2 mins & activation is quick & easy via email. If your activation code doesnt come please dont create duplicate accounts & be patient.

Ive now requested this thread is closed & a new one will open when released.
