i send my scouts all over the place and they never come back to me with anybody, am i doing it wrong or expecting too much?

there's a lot of things you can check:

Do you send them to scout other regions is it? When they come back do you look at who they've signed, and sort by the number of recommendations stars? Do youapply criteria for the searches? Are your scouts actually any good? (IE do they have high judging PA and CA stats)? Do you scout tournaments as well?

Did you check to see if you filtered the search, did you set the scout to search for specific players or did you inadvertently set the filter up? Check to see if the list is a filtered list.

my scouts are rated highly and i send them to the regions or countries they know best, they've never came back with anyone to recommend. it's wierd, mind you i'm newcastle united so they're probably like the rest of my squad and don't get out of the airport bar!!

Have you checked your filters? That's the only reason I can see. Alternatively have you just assigned them. I've had occassion when a scout is gone for 6 months and only come back with 1, but of course he went to Algeria
