What do you think about Souey being manager ?

I think he needs to be given time...and the palyers need time to take to him. Hopefully he'll bring in a few players (Boumsong?) in January and then we can really start to judge him.
As it is...well we're not exactly setting the world alight are we.

You know me, got to have my say on all things Newcastle
I reckon we should all reserve judgement on him and the progress (if any) until at least Christmas next year. It's going to be a big overhaul at the club, starting in January where I expect us to get at least 2 defenders, and not stop-gap ones like Ronny Johnsen. Boumsong from what I've seen of him has lots of potential and would certainly be a big improvement on the current bunch of defenders (I cringe just writing that about them) we have in that position.
I reckon the problems won't be sorted simply by bringing in a few good defenders, we've got a 'fullback' in Bernard who has the worst positioning EVER, a talented but completely lazy b@stard in Robert, a so called attacking midfielder in Dyer who scores once every 11 games, if we're lucky. An immobile forward in Shearer and a so called superstar in Kluivert who looks disinterested at times.
No, judging Souness this year would be a mistake. I hope Fat Fred realises that turning us into Champions League material won't happen overnight, but I fear he will not give him all the time he needs.
Oh and "well we're not exactly setting the world alight are we" is about the biggest understatement of the year
We've been absolutely f*****g abysmal lately, and that's as polite as I can put it!
I think I should finish off my ranting, seeing as some gits decided to take down the only decent NUFC forum on the net, I've nowhere else to get talk about them anymore
