Just a quick question. I have noticed that when I defend, my midfield and defence will play close together on the edge of the area, while the forward players are miles away, meaning I can never get the ball to them.

I have tried playing around with closing down and the defensive line with not much joy, and have put the midfield and the forwards on team mentality.

Anybody else suffer from this??

If you want the strikers to be closer to your midfield/defence then drop the mentalities of the forward so they come deeper. Or put an backward arrow on one of the strikers so he drops to the AMC spot brining him a little closer again.
