I have a problem with managing teams both in the premiership and in the Spanish league.

I have played with AC Milan for quite a few seasons and was very successful with them especially towards the end. I adopted a slow tempo, short passing game which worked very well in the Italian league.

But with Arsenal, Man Utd, Real Madrid I just cannot get a grip. The slow passing game doesn't work. I also tried many other things but they don't work.

Can anyone please give me a few tactic tips for the premiership and spanish league please?

I find that a fast tempo works best in the EPl.

Ferschu, are you having problems with BOTH home and away?

If you set up an attacking tactic for home, high mentality, increased tempo and width etc etc, you should be fine at home. Only give high creativity to the creative players who also have good decision making attributes.

Away from home have an attacking away tactic and also a more defensive minded counter attacking type tactic for the Chelseas and Arsenals.

ALSO and this is a big one, create a tactic to specifically counter the 4-2-4 which the AI uses in the last 20 minutes or so when they are trailing.

The keys points in the 4-2-4 counter is to sarrow your strikers and have everyone playing more defensive but counter attacking on and firing the ball down the wings.

well in england you have to rely on pure strenght and attacking. in spain its mostly technique and attacking football that counts. If you were succesfull with Milan, I suggest you stick to that leauge. Or if you really want to challenge the two other big leagues. Heres a few pointers.

England - You can't go wrong with 4-4-2. Defense is the best offense, without a decent defense you are nothing.

Spain - try 4-3-3, 4-5-1 or a combination of these are probably best for spain. Highly techniqual wingers and a centralized playemaker. Preferably an attacking midfielder.
In spain the defenders need heading and speed. Speed is vital.

Your defensive tactics in Italy should work to some extent, but if you don't adapt to the faster paced game of england and spain, you won't be able to succeede in those leagues.
