I have been running a game for 5 seasons now.I am Sunderland in the PL and have been in for 4 seasons. for my first 3 seasons I used lots of tactics I downloaded which are supposed to be the dogs ********.None of them I have had success with.

I am finding I am having more success with the standard FM Tactics

yes standard tactics are well balanced. as long as you have a decent team you should be able to do well. i did a test with man u and won the league and league cup. i did the same test with ac milan and won everything. :cool:

You have to bear in mind that tactics other people make available for download were designed with their own team and own players.

If you use their tactic you should always need to adapt it to suit your own players and not just use it without any tweaking.

Its also worth remembering too, a standard tactic is less complex than one you downloaded and most things will be done on a global level. Keep things simple is the best option to go, and you'd be surprised at what success you can have by laying it simple and not trying to adjust too much to individual settings.

I won the league and FA Cup with Liverpool using just the FM's standard tactics.
