I`m playing a attacking 442 using a target man and playmaker using lazio on a network game and i can win alot of games but i come unstuck when teams play a 442 defensive formation especially when the attack on the break, any tips on how i can stop losing these matches?

What sort ot goals are you conceeding? Are you creating chances and just not putting them away?

Seems to me that when i come up against a 442 defensive formation my whole team get shut down i don`t seem to create much and i`m mauled as soon as they win the ball. I`ve tried slowing the tempo down to keep the ball myself but its not really helped. Worse still my mate has cottoned on and he plays it and i really struggle

FC
AML AMR
dMC aMC dMC

WBL DC DC WBR

Play wide(18), Def Line Push Up(14), short(3-5) exept WBs-12(direct), slow, Lots of Creative freedom to FC,AML,AMR. I have huge succes with this. Give free role to FC too

I also seem to struggle against 433 formations especially the 1 genoa uses they are my ultimate bogie team
