It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Cleon, how would you set up creative freedom for big clubs, eg. Man Utd, Arsenal & Real Madrid? I always seem to struggle with this, as at Man Utd I have Carrick, Scholes, Ronaldo, Giggs, Tevez, Rooney, Nani & Anderson all capable of being creative, and I can't decide how much creative freedom to give them. Also, at England, I have Beckham, Rooney, Gerrrard, Carrick and Joe Cole capable of being creative. Deciding on how much creative freedom to give my creative players is really doing my head - they never seem to play well regardless. Can you please give some tips about allocating creative freedom? Thanks for any help in advance.

Id only have the AMC or MC on high creative freedom for full 90 minutes. Everyone one else would be on normal, but if i was chasing a game etc id maybe give someone else high CF. Id rather players stuck to my settings rather than follow there own brain. I try never to have more than 1 player with high cf

As are team talks etc. If you're leaving yours to your ass man in the long term then you'll eventually run into trouble imo.
This is absolutely not the case. You can have great success year after year with the Asst. Man doing team talks. In fact, I'd say it's best to let him do it. You'll get as good or better results, while saving tons of time because you don't have to manually take all the factors into considerations when doing the talks.

Totally agree, thats why I always leave mine to him. Say the wrong team in a team talk and you can seriosuly punished, I find the gap between saying the right and wrong thing was massive and made too much of a difference.

But with practice you virtually never make a "wrong" call. Plenty of "nothing specific noteds", maybe, but never an actual major downturn in performance.

My tactics are probably not totally up to scratch, so I use media and team talks to keep morale high and try and get wins that way.
