Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

How long do you give them between games?
What's the intensity of your training schedules?
What's the intensity of your aerobic and strength schedules?
How many pre-season friendlies do you play and linked to this how long do you play your players in friendlies?
What's the weather like where you're playing?
What stats do your players have (on the whole) for natural fitness and stamina?

The other thing is that players need (in my experience) at least 5 days to a week's rest after playing 90 minutes to be 100% fit for the next game.

Also, the players have to be properly match fit.

Sorry, couple more:

What tempo do you play?
How much closing down do you play?

Condition dropping to 80% or below during a game is quite normal. At least for me, but I play a quick tempo game. My players are still normally at 97%+ for the next game though.

Same for me, obviously tempo plays the major part, and the farrows. As you will see you wingers tend to have lower condition. But obviously that only works with what formation you play etc.

But overall, not really anything to worry about, unless you drop into 70's.
