But the AI can constantly change it's tactics in the game and always find the perfect balance, because its using a set of rules from the developers in what should be an effectice tactic and what wont, i.e short/slow direct/quick, but once you throw in all the other variables such as width, closing down, creative freeedom and mentality, which in my opinion is still a grey area, and one in which if a couple of players sliders are set badly then the tactic will fall apart, then the AI has a distinct advantage. Tweaking the tactic can also be a a difficult task as one altering one slier will effect another slider and so on, so the human manager has to look at the stats find out what the problem is alter sliders here and their and hope and prey it works, whilst the AI could instantly alter tactics without having to go through the sme though process and knowing that the changes made are the correct ones.
I've tried and failed to make a 4-2-4 similar to that of the AI's but no where near as effctive. As for the standard formations in the game using the preset player instructions are a complete joke in which a tried in an experiment with a side which should be challenging at the top of league 1, eventually getting relegated and me losing my job.
I really think the game should include a couple of tactics made by the game developers so that user can view the tactic and have a better understanding of how to create tactics.
