I'm playing as Arsenal, I signed Goran Pandev, he has been brilliant, scoring loads of goals. My home form is good, but my away form is terrible. My main problem is every single match (home or away), my players get loads of chances (most of these being one-on-ones with the keeper), and then almost every single one of these chances are wasted by the player kicking right at the goalkeeper, giving him an easy save. This happens so often, I can almost predict it happening every time I see one of my players in a good scoring situation. This seems to be effecting all of my players, including Goran Pandev, he just seems to have SO many chances, he tends to score often.
How can I change my tactics so that the players score these chances more often, I don't want to have to tell them to go wider and try for headers, because I'm getting the chances I need, but the players are just wasting them.
Thanks!

Yes I agree slow the game down. High tempo generates lots of meaningless chances. Play at a slower tempo and make a few deadly chances.
I find also that it helps to try and share the burden of scoring with wingers. I have my wingers barrows cut into next to lone striker position so they cut in and go for goal. If right winger has ball, left winger goes into position as a second striker and vice versa.
Also, AMC is a huge source of goals for me.

I've tried these tactics on 5 games so far, the first was against Manchester United, which I lost 3 - 0, but since then I've won every match, and I have only seen the one-on-one, hitting goalkepper thing about twice.
So this seems to be working, cheers!

one-on-ones are the best chances that anyone can create. This is a problem that should be seriously looked into in the patch (hopefully!!) or at least in the next version.
And toning down the chances is the opposition manager's responsibility. Mind you...i am not flaming SI...but it does get frustrating when u are 1-0 and ur striker decides to shoot straight at the onrushing keeper with just a minute left...

Not only are one on ones not the best chance you can create, (I'd rather tap it into an open net or get a free header at the 6 yard box) but I suspect that in peoples frustration with the game they are declaring chances one one ones when the defenders were really hounding the player and limiting his options. If your player doesn't have enough time to realistically round the keeper it wasn't really a one on one because players other than the striker and the keeper were influencing the outcome of the play.
