No matter where I play him i.e. left wing, right/left striker he never scores or performs well for me
I usually end up selling him to AC Milan during the first Januray transfer window. His stats are fantastic so what am I doing wrong?

set him as your target man and give him a free role, make sure run with ball/ gets forward and trys log shots are all to the maximum and sit back as you watch him destryo teams for fun.

the only problem i have with him is he never wants to tutor younger players and he can be injury prone also.

Sell him, you have better. Eduardo, Adebayor, Vela ....

I'd sell up if he isn't performing. He's never performed well for me and you do have better.

That' strange. He's very happy to tutor Saivet for me. And also Bendtner in a previous save. Try to ask him to do it after the first season. He should never have a problem. And also, he hardly ever gets injured for me. So pretty strange that.

Anyway, as for the original problem, yes make sure you give him a free role. He and Adebayor work very well together for some reason. I always have them on RWB often, FR often. But for RVP I have long shots on often while Adebayor has them on mixed. They dont usually have a problem scoring. Free role for RVP is the key.
