I'm Arsenal and Barcelona just offered to buy Marcelo off me for 14.25M over 24 months + G. dos Santos.

What should I do? Should I try get upfront cash, % of next sale aswell?

Is G. dos Santos better than Marcelo?

Marcelo seems better atm; better physically, faster, however dos Santos has better attacking stats. Though dos Santos is 1 year younger.

Depends on how good Dos Santos is in your game.

He is -10 so on average 185PA. On the other hand if Barca wants to offload him his PA could be lower.

Marcelo is good but not world class.

I declared my interest in dos Santos since the start of the season, and made several offers which were declined. I think they just want Marcelo more than dos Santos, because Giovani isn't upset or anything and he has played 50 matches for Barca, 42 of them 1st 11s.

He has played 33 league matches, scored 11, assisted 15, AR 7.24


Hmm.. I'm gonna try get a bit more off them. Marcelo's speed is needed for my formation

It's not only Marcelo's speed that you want. When he gets to 20/21 years old he becomes a machine, In my game he is looking alot like Silva at that age, and matching him for ratings. Keep Marcelo (provided you've trained him as a AML). I can try and get a screenie of him if you like...

It's upto you. If it wont take long, screeny would be great. If not it's fine, I'll wait and see how good he becomes.

Dang it... I've been trying to buy Daniel Alves I just offered 38M cash. They replied asking for 8.8M + Marcelo. Basically I'm selling Marcelo for 30M+.

Here's a screenie of him sometime in the future....man he's one great left winger. Having said that, Dani Alves is probably the best right back in the game, and 30m+ is alot of money to have. Its up to you, if your squad needs expanding then I say sell, if you need a future star, then keep hold of him. Good luck!

About all his stats have gone up by 1, except for Acceleration and Pace, he has 19 on both for me. I guess it's my training
All the big teams are after him:- Barca, Madrid, Sevilla, Man U, Chelsea.
