What I'd like to know is what are the LLM-approved ways to find new players? Obviously, scouting, but a single scout finds only a few players every 1,5 month when scouting England. So, can I view other teams' lineups and look there? And if yes, are there any restrictions?

No, your scouts should do the work for you.

If you have the new patch you will notice that most the scouts now are on speed and you will find about 500 players, so there isn't much of an excuse.

If you line up against a team then you can scout those players, but that's basically it.

After reading the bugs forum I decided I won't be using the new patch yet. 7.0 works fine for me.

And what about the top goalscorers/most assists/most av. rating lists? Can I use them?

Look at them, scout them, sign them if they'll come.

You can scout players who appear on the news screen, or who you have played against or who your scout has found. That's about it.

Yet another stupid question... I cancelled the parent club relation at the beginning of the game, but now is a new season and my chairman decided to link up with another club, I can't cancel it for a year... Is it ok if I let it be and just don't take any players on loan?

If you can't cancel it then you have no choice.
