Should note that anyone wanting all their players in one piece should avoid Lokomotiv Vitebsk at all costs. Just lost another 2 players to crippling challenges to make it 22 players i've lost playing against them in 6 matches ffs.

Hardly game altering to remind people to bring boxing gloves and head protection on Belarusian away days. The whole league system is dirty as hell .

Anyway, another season done with .

FC Minsk 09

Money to spend at last \o., and a whole 150k at that. Cue me signing the leagues 20 year old top scorer on a free from our local rivals .

Money is spent strengthening our midfield and strikeforce to start with, but a decent keeper available for 50k quickly joins the summer spendings.

Media Prediction: 40-1 (Surely title winning odds based on the offerings so far, still only expected to avoid relegation though.)

Highest League: 3rd (that freebie striker nets a 92nd minute equaliser away to our nearest rival for the final euro spot on the last day of the season, we grab that final spot by having one better goal difference, he takes the league topscorer award by 1 in the process)

Belarusian Cup: 3rd Round (tbc...)

Reserves League: 3rd (losing against nearest rival due to last minute goal in last game to miss out on the league)

New contract signed, putting me on a huge £240p/w . Also leaves me with £350k to spend in the winter, and just the need for defence stregthening as we head into Europe for the first time ever .

Bad back means I can't move out of my bed pretty much, so plenty of FM time.

FC Minsk 10

In Europe \o/, so expected to scrape mid-table tops (are all Belarusian so pessimistic?). More players in, more crap into the reserves in the way of youths, things seem much the same.

A request for improved training facilities gets a hesitant go-ahead, yet i'm still waiting for further news at seasons end. Also set up a relationship with russian 2nd division side Rotor Volgograd (of mid-90s fame), to better help the influx of young hopeful russians into my evil grasp .

Media Prediction: 12-1 (Actual support from the bookies, they think I may make 6th)

Highest League: 2nd 52pts (best defence in the league countered by an attack barely beating a goal a game)

Belarusian Cup: 4th Round vs Dinamo Minsk (1-0 agg.)
3rd round (tbc..)

Reserves League: Champions

UEFA Cup:
1st Quals vs AK Graz (Austria) (0-4, 1-1, 5-1 on agg.) (So much for 13-2 odds )

2nd Quals. vs Monchengladbach (Germany) (0-1, 0-1, 1-1 on agg., out 4-3 on pens. but the win 1-0 in Germany was worth it)

More signings and another season of Europe to look forward to. Hopefully will make the final step and break the Dinamo/BATE stranglehold on the top spot in the league.
