Or is it hopeless to take over a LL team and get there. I've tried and was most succesful when I managed to get a CON North side into league 2 but I got stuck there and it was a constant relegation struggle. I was also frustrated at how little my rep as manager seemed to change. I managed to move from a LL icelandic side once to a mediocre danish side and I guess that's a step up.

I am curious as to whether any of you, on FM 2007, have managed to take a LL team all the way (or close) to the top.

My best has been getting a Conference South side to League One and taking an Irish First Division side to the UEFA Cup (there are only two leagues so not that impressive). In previous games, there has been people who have taken teams that get promoted into the bottom league and won the Champions League but it seems extremely difficult to do that the LLM way in FM2007.
