First of all, let me point out I know of the rules in this forum. So here's the warning, though it should be pretty clear - there is information on this link which may be deemed as spoilers:
Now my main reason for posting here is that I need help on LLM. It's not my expertise, hence covering only Serie A, EPL, and La Liga. In the guide, at the start of clubs, you'll find a team template. If you wish to contribute a team guide, fill it in like I have, and try to include as much detail as possible on how to play with the team, best players, strengths, weaknesses, parent clubs, staff, whether the facilities need improving etc.
Another way to help in the future will be to submit a player guide, but I haven't drawn up a template for that as of yet. If you have any ideas on what could be included, contact me. You can recomend good players to me as well.
Now this is important.
DON'T POST ANY INFORMATION HERE
It's against the forum rules, and your message will be moderated, so I probably won't see it. If you wish to help, contact information is provided in the guide.
This seems to be a grey area with the rules, but I request that the mods please leave this on here. No information is being given in the messages themselves, and there's no LLM info in the guide anyway.
If you have any additional ideas/feedback/questions, feel free to ask, as long as they don't reveal any information about the game.
If you do wish to contribute, please alert me. Just by simply saying that you'll do a guide for xxxx team withut revealing any more information, or that you have sent me player/team information.
Thanks for your time

Greg, I would much have preferred that you'd contacted us first, there's a link to e-mailing the Mods at the top of the forum, so we could have checked out the link and discussed with you what exactly you required and if it was suitable for the SI:LLM forum.
However I'm willing to let this remain open on the understanding that as soon as any rules are broken that it will, like any other, be subject to closing or editing.

I apologise for not contacting you first about this, I didn't realise there was a link available to contact the mods. If you wish to check out the guide, and if you feel it is not suitable for the forum, I understand why you'll close the topic.
I have done the most I can possibly do to encourage people not to post information here, and thanks a lot for leaving this open for the time being

You are to be commended Greg for putting in time and effort to make a FM guide, however you are rather naive if you think any LLaMa will read or contribute to it as it is against the very nature of how we play the game.
That said, I hope your guide is well received in the relevant quarters.

"and try to include as much detail as possible on how to play with the team, best players, strengths, weaknesses, parent clubs, staff, whether the facilities need improving etc."
That's the bit that gets me. I am glad you read the rules and know a bit what this forum is about, however...
As Nobby said, We play the game without any tips, 3rd party updates, best players and so on, so why on earth would any of us contribute to help others, when we believe in playing the LLM way? I cannot see why any LLaMa would want to help out in this project.
This is a good project for those who do not play the same way as us, but I can't see you getting much (if any) help around these parts.

I admire how you play - I hate seeing so and so is a wonderkid etc, I like to find my own players too and manage clubs with as little help as possible, but I stay with the bigger clubs. I also wanted to write this guide though, so it's rather conflicting for me.
I understand the point of it completely - I take it that it's players you don't know, and you have to read into their stats and gradually figure out who're the best etc, and search for players you've never heard of too to buy. If I weren't writing a guide I'd love to start a LLM game, but it wouldn't be the same for me now as I've had to look through good player topics on other boards etc.
If you could would you please close the topic, because this isn't the right place for this sort of thing. I hope you all have success with whoever you've chosen. If anyone's managed to bring the likes of Bognor Regis to the Premiership, you're truly great at the game.

Whenever I've had success in the past, it's always had far more to do with luck than anything resembling skill. Even in my present game I couldn't tell you why my results end up the way they do.
Still, kudos for making the guide. I won't be reading it - just making vague congratulatory noises in my room - but I'm sure it'll be appreciated.
