Default Stalybridge Celtic - The Story so far.

Season 2006/07 - Stalybridge Celtic(Conference North)

Willie Wilde becomes the new manager at Stalybridge Celtic. He knows it won't be an easy task to keep them in the Conference North. The Board and fans are keen for a mid table finish this season, but the press are sure they'll take the drop back to the Northern Premier.

However, 10 new signings in the first 2 months and canny use of tactics sees Stalybridge rise to the challenge, eventually finishing 4th in the Conference North. Sadly though, all dreams of making the Conference National are ended after losing to play-off favourites Kettering.

Conference North: 4th (68pts)
F.A. Cup: Second Qualifying Round (Stalybridge 0-1 Mossley)
F.A. Trophy: First Round (Halifax 1-0 Stalybridge)
Result of the Season: 11-0 vs Clevedon (F.A. Trophy 3rd Qual Rnd)
