Well, having read a few posts prior to unwrapping 2007, I wasn't too hopeful that the new version would outplay 2006. I am currently on my second game (the first being a disastrously unsuccessful spell with Oxford, where I was sacked by January after drawing my way to 15th in the conf). Started the second last night with the mighty Blyth Spartans.......and i'm very, very excited! (hence the reason that i'm writing from work!). Spent 5 hours last night trawling for players valued between £0 and £0......The most exciting acquisition was a centre half with a snapped leg from Blackpool. If he can play with a stookie (for anyone not from the west of scotland, that is a plaster cast) i'm in business.
So anyway, a few friendlies out the way, two league games and two 2-1 wins. Supplemented by a feeder agreement with Newcastle Utd (who have been very quiet so far with the loaning players thing - anyone got any experience of this yet??????)
The conference north (or whatever pub league i'm playing in) won't know what hit it (assuming I can make an appropriate excuse not to accompany work colleagues to the pub tonight!)
May I suggest a Read of the Forum Header before you go any further. If you wish to do an update you need to have completed 3 seasons before you start it. Unless you have permission from one of the mods.
No i'm a newbie to the forums....so i seem to be a little remiss on some of the etiquette. I was only really asking if anyone had any experience with the feeder club thing...
Have played every version of this game since Championship Manager 1993......so not an amateur as such though!!!!

I was replying more to the fact you seemed to have posted an update without reading the header, everything should be explained in there or you could use the search function to find the answer to your question. HTH
When someone's describing what's happening in his game in order to set up a relevant question does not an update constitute. Maybe you should have a read of the forum header too?
Anyway, to the OP, you're more likely to get a decent answer in GQ,though I suspect everyone will have different experiences with the feeder club thingamajig.
