Now i'm all patched up I want to start a new game, with lots of leagues, but want a feeler as to how many I can get away with whilst having a large database.

My computer is pretty much akin to that Deep Blue computer that beat that matey at chess once, so I wonder how many leagues others are running and what the slow down is like once you get into the game (e.g 5 years plus)

Any opinions would be helpful.

I have a AMD Athlon 64 X 2 Dual Core 4600+ with 2Gb of RAM. Running 70 leagues with what I deem acceptable speed.

Yes, full detail and large db.

I even started a save with all leagues on full detail and large db, but that was too slow, definitely

I'll give you a serious answer Ryn, I'm running 21 leagues and it does that very happily.

One of the best improvements in FM07, I can almost run the whole of Europe.

I'm running all European countries, but not all divisions, 69 I think. All divisions in main countries like Spain, Italy, France etc.

Runs quicker than my Billericay 06 save did with only nine nations and 21ish divisions.

yeah, I'm not running all divisions, all the divisions for the summer leagues, top for the rest.
