Alright lads, I know that you fellows dont use the player search screen as its against the way you play but I just need something clearing up really.

I am told that the players which show up on the player search screen are now linked to your clubs scouting knowledge, so why are you guys still against the search screen?

I understand i might have missed something here as i dont really know what the link is and im just wondering if you guys can explain it.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the better scouting knowledge of your club the more players show up in the search screen. It was about then I started to think about something else.

iajafer, or ian whatever your name is, why do you have to be so blunt it was a reasonable question if you didnt want to answer it you shouldnt of posted.

I already know you guys dont use the search screen,and if you read my first post properly you would of realised, all im asking is in this version scouting and searching are linked somehow, i just dont know how.

I think basically the more you know about a country (as a club) the more players are found using the search screen.

If that's the case then it is really a tenuous link and the LLaMa view of the search screen is unchanged.

The search screen is banned. Period. The scout system now works very well, and there is absolutely no reason whatsover to use the search screen.

There's an old LLaMa adage "If you have to ask...then you very probably are"

Nothing has changed in the new game to change LLM guidelines, if you're wondering how scouting and player search are linked then GQ is the place to ask.

The search screen is disliked because it is something you would never find if you were coaching a team in real life circumstances, ie having a list of players neither you nor any of your scouts have watched. Even though they are connected to your scouting knowledge it still players youor your scouts have ever seen so you really don't know anything about them but their name.

Wanted to start a new thread but then I saw this one.

What about FM06 and staff search?

Having posted the job offer for an assman and waited for 3/4 of the season I don't have a single candidate I could hire (not because I don't find them good enough but because all of them are too good and are asking 10 times what the board allows and/or are foreigners from some obscure countries).

Is there any LLM-compliant solution to this?

FM06 and staff search is a yes. 07 would be a no as the job centre works well in 07
