| Thanks for answering the question that was never asked. I was asking about what is considered an LLM game because apparently the rules in the guidelines don't cover it all. And it really does not contribute to clarification of the subject to hear all the time only "I don't think you understand LLM" and "maybe this is not a forum for you" and "play the way you want - we don't care".

For some reason it people ain't getting what I am saying. Kfoolmoon's recent thrashing of what I said by saying the same thing I said is a prime example. I'll therefore stop trying to explain my opinion on this subject.
And Kfoolmoon, you should really read everything someone has said on a subject before making agressive comments toward that person. I've played LLM since CM3 and only LLM. I find the otherway boring.

Just remember the LLM rules and abide by it strictly in your LLM game, I think that's alright?
But hey, why do you need our approval for?

It doesn't matter what we consider, it's what you consider.
Play an LLM game to LLM spirit and ethics and post about it in here and it's an LLM game.
| What Iajafer said is right. It's all about the truth, are you being true to yourself? If not than your only hurting yourself.

I'm not sure how much my opinion counts being a rookie on this forum, but here's what I think:
I tried out LLM with enthusiasm, but I was struck down simply cause I don't have what it takes. Be that discipline or skill or whatever. It doesn't mean that I won't someday try it again, but just that I'll know what I'm getting into.
What I did get out of it, though, is respect for the guys, who play by the LLM rules. For those of you, who want to be LLM in your "own way" by having side games and what not (like I was in the beginning) I'd have to say your in the wrong place. I guess you could think of this as club and these guys have an ideology which they value. That ideology demands quite a lot, but to them I guess it also gives back. To play an LLM game with a Chelsea game on the side would be kind of like quitting smoking, but only at work and then at work announce proudly how smoke-free you are. Unfair to the real quitters and their efforts.
These guys obviously work hard for this LLM thing they have and I think they are entitled to run their forum the way they want and to some extent condemn the people, who want to distort the LLM idea for whatever personal short-coming.
Of course, it is just a computer game and you play it like you want to. I myself am going to drop out of my desperate Droylsden season and go spend some money with some big-a** team and perhaps one day try this again. But if do, I won't post on this forum if I'm not going by all their rules. I don't think that's such a hard thing to do.
Iajafer is right, you're either LLM in this forum or something else somewhere else. Their "club", their rules. Have some respect.

I'm a rookie here too, and I'm finding the only way to go is fully LLM. It gives such a greater sense of achievement when for example you get your first clean sheet or score more than 2 goals in a game.
Previously played lower league temas anyway, but read up on tactical theories and tried them out, but found I couldn't get them to work and got frustrated. Now trying to figure things out myself (as the people who give out advice in the other forums do) using the manual and in game hints. It's all you really need.
The whole games is much more enjoyable that way, did ask a stupid question recently about running more than one save, but after thinking about it, it would ruin the whole career idea thing, having one career and building up your knowledge and experience so if you do finally make it to the top it will feel like you've earned it. Very similar to running an LLM game and a top flight team in tandem.
But I'm lucky to have discovered this style of play that really suits me, and can see why other people want to do both. For those of you on the fence undecided about whether to try this or not, I'd say go for it and forget the other forums, you won't miss them.
That's just my tuppence worth.
