Gainsborough Trinity........ who are they?!

ok for a start this is my first post on here so forgive me if everything is all over the place. Have been playing my Gainsborough game for 6 seasons now and i love it so don't want to start a new game just so i can post. so heres your update.

06/07
not a great first season very poor squad overall few young prospects pretty much a case of rebuild. Main signing is a very tall striker who is going to be a star.

Finish 19th

07/08
Not much better this season either. Main focus was bring in a few defenders to try and bring some stability to the club.

Finish 18th - Least we're improving

08/09
Huge improvement rebuilding my defence last season shows dividens especially with a few more signings coming in and the discovery of a fantastic 17 year old keeper who comes straight into first team.

Finish 7th

Bring in a bit of experience to balance out with all the youth in my team and really pays off. For the first time in a long long time Gainsborough make they playoffs. Unfortunatly the squad lacks that killer edge and stumbles after drawing the home leg 1-1 get drilled 2-0 in the away leg to Burton. Maybe next season.

Very few players brought in the excessivly tall striker and young keeper have got a few seasons under there belt and really shone through. The experience in the middle pays off and Gainsborough reach playoffs yet again. Semi finals... Burton...... again. This time however sweet revenge knocking them out then just to finish the season grind out a 1-0 win in the final much against the run of play.

Finish 3rd - Finally out of this dirty league!

Now we're up to speed. Have just started this season brought in a few youngsters on free transfer including a rb who i am going to convert to a cb because he's solid and a very talented amr who scored on his debut!
