Default Entering reserve league

I am managing FC Omniworld in Holland. The team does not have a reserve team. They do have an amateur team but they do not have any fixtures.

I have gotten promoted to the premier league and would like to compete in the reserve league as well. Is there any way to add a reserve team?

I will put an update here in the near future on my career. Thanks for any help.

I managed FC Omniworld in FM06 and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there (it was cut short by the arrival of FM07 ). Unfortunately, if there is no reserve team there is nothing you can do about it! I did plenty of yoyoing and took part in the playoffs in 4 consecutive seasons (both for promotion and relegation) losing the final 5-4 at the end of season 2 iirc to be relegated back down again. There is a thread about it somewhere if you can be bothered to look for it!

Good luck!

Kind of linked I suppose, currently managing Redditch in the conference north, and notice my u18 team has now fixtures but a full team.

I have decided to arrange friendly matches for them all season so that if I need to call on one then they are relatively match fit.

Has anyone else done this?

I used my amateur team as a reserve team one season and just arranged a lot of friendlies.

Gillmacs, I had already read your adventure when I first started this career. I am just finishing my 5th season.

Dang! I'm managing Redditch too. Same problem. Is this normal at this tier, or is it simply an indication of the suckiness of Redditch?

It should solve itself on the next tier though.
