Default killieChris - Solihull Moors

Preview - Took over Solihull Moors as I was intrigued by the apparant challange of managing what was for all intents and purposes a new club. (Moor Green having merged with a local rival after repeated arson attacks). The club however wasnt allowed in the F.A. Cup due to code issues, so this made for a more interesting LLM save than normal.

Season - 07/08 (media and board prediction to avoid relegation, skybet quoted club to win title at 5000-1, myself stated top half finish the aim)
BSN = 1st (+62GD,95pts), Santa Cup = 2nd rnd, F.A. Trophy = 3rd rnd, F.A. Cup = No entry.
POTY = Young Ginger Scotch winger (free transfer by scouting), Top Scorer - Midget Brum reject 17yrold (40 in all comps)
Season review - I totally overachieved in the league, but I got bumped 1st rnd in the cups. Club in around 180k in debt due to my foolish sacking of entire 1st team to rebuild with 14 yth signings via 3 scouts (thank the lord for them!). If the wage bill was not so low I'd be sacked for certain.

Season - 08/09 (media and board prediction to avoid relegation, skybet quoted club to win title at 100-1, myself stated avoiding relegation also the aim)
BSP = 18th (-16GD,50pts), Santa Cup = Runners up (3-0 daylight shafting), F.A. Trophy = Winners (6-4 aet - nerves shot to hell) , F.A. Cup = No entry.
POTY = Young Ginger Scotch winger (obviously bribing the fans), Top Scorer - Midget Brum reject again (27 in all comps)
Season review - Avoided relegation with needed a draw last game of the season. My league form was a joke, alot of my team can't hack it at this level and bumped (including a p/t DM - think his other job must be cage fighter - 3 reds for violent conduct!). However, I had my best ever season in my personal LLM history, got to final in Santa cup but less said bout that the better. My F.A. trophy win was amazing, 4-4 then ET. 2 goals and I wanted to cry i was so happy. Financially, these two cup runs plus the Santa TV money from BSP brought my balance up to 240k. Wage bill half expected. All round a year of consolidation in the league and jubilation in cups.

Season - 09/10 (media and board prediction to avoid relegation, skybet quoted club to win title at 40-1, myself stated avoiding relegation also the aim)
BSP = 14th (+8GD,64pts), Santa Cup = 4th rnd, F.A. Trophy = 1st rnd , F.A. Cup = 1st rnd (Finally entered).
POTY = Local free transfer MC 18yrs old, Top Scorer - Midget Brum reject again (40 in all comps)
Season review - brought in 20 new players, all of which scouted and yths mainly from wales, NI and england. (If Danish beer companies did scouts, they'd probably.....). Highlight of season was teams development. Yth from NI, 2nd top scorer with 18, another 19yr NI got u-19 cap and yth from wales, my very own non league welsh wizard got 2 U-21 caps. Rejected offers for all three players totalling 140k. Bank balance is up to 450k and my brum reject of a striker is still scoring goals despite being a moody wee ****** and demanding a move to a bigger club. (wasn;t like that when you were on the dole son at 17 was it arghh). Did nothing in the cups after previous years success and the league was all about rebuilding with a sqaud with an average age of 19. The future should be rosy if i can keep a few of these young players for a couple of years.

(also apologies for double posting of my second season above - yet another rookie error on my part)

Just thought I'd put the scotch in so my southern readers would know what nationality the guy was. Trying to get a smile raised due to the deserved ribbing ive been taking for my previous bad posting. Yet again sorry Brian for screwing up my 3rd season post. I was copying/pasting and editing the post - mucked up!
sorry. Anyway, hope the above is at least informative. I'll admit iv'e found it tough. Alot of hours have went into developing that team! Doubt i'll get out of the BSP though just competing in it is good enough for me just now1

Loving the banter. Anyone want to know who won the world cup in 2010? It was between the Ivory Coast vrs USA (France and Turkey being ko'd respectively in the semi's) with the USA winning one to zero. On a point of interest, Oldham and Lincoln had a players from the IC playing in the final. Realism somewhat FUBAR in my opinion.

It gets better, Franchise fc and Southend now have World Cup winners amounst there ranks, with Southend being in league 1! Realism is totally FUBAR now.

I'm sure you're the man to correct me, but I'd always thought that technically, you're "Scots" rather than "Scottish"?
