One thing i have noticed is if your star player has 6 months left but noone offers contract and when you offer he says he does not wish to sign if you wait until his contracts up and he leaves the club to find a new one if you make an offer he will accept no problems will this be changed for the new game? because it seems really unrealistic to me

I agree, although it's good to get a second chance at signing the quality players you already have - usually for less wages too!

Better than seeing them go to rival teams
