I am playing as Leicester City FC and have just got promoted with two months to spare (which is looking really unlikly to happen in real life!).
Anyway, before promotion, my assistant manager's team report was full of 6 and 7 stars - e.g. Stephen Clemence and Mauro Zarate were considered the best players at the club with 7 stars each.
After promotion, it is full of one and two stars - Stephen Clemence is 2 star and should be offloaded as soon as possible and Mauro Zarate is 4 silver stars and has the potential to be a 3 star player (even though he has scored 16 goals in 16 games!).
Also all of my scouts have been affected too - one scout who rated Billy Jones as a 7 star player before promotion has rated him as a 2 star player who also asks for less money.
Is this a bug or meant to happen as you get promoted (i.e. you have higher standards and player are more desparate to sign for you?).
The coaches adjust their ratings depending on the level of Football your at. The difference in quality between the Championship and Premiership is massive. If you look at the threads prior to release it explained how the scouting/coach report system works.
basically your assistant manager is saying your team good enough to win the championship but your gonna get pumped left right and centre if you dont buy better quality players for the premiership. Derby comes to mind just now
One thing I should point out is that I am still in the Championship with 6 games remaining - why should it change now?
Also I've noticed that all of my players are asking for lower wages and team settings - i.e. I am renewing the contract of Hosain Kaebi (my first choice RB who has played in all of the games and is a Key Player) who is asking to be a Hot Prospect for lower wages?
I think that this might be a bug - but an advantageous one as all of my players are asking for much lower wages and longer contracts when I renew them!
