Bump. Still waiting for a response. I'll even make it easier - just please answer these questions SI 
(1) What effects do the yearly awards, for example player of the year, have on a player?
(2) If a player doesn't win player of the year, especially if touted for it in the media as one of the players that is favourite for it, is there any negative effects for that player?
(3) How specifically does Team of the Week affect a player?
If these are in the manual my apologies - but in North America so don't have the game yet.

| 1) he gains a reputation bonus (national and world); more reputatation = his value will increase; more clubs will want to purchase him
2) just a guess here: i don't think not winning the player of the year award ,after being touted to do so, has any negative effects
3)erm... it's just like the the player of the year, goalscorer, midfielder of the year, etc awards, just that the player will get a very small boost to his reputation (national and world)

Does winning manager of the month awards raise your managers reputation? I won 7 manager of the month awards and got the manager of the year too but my reputation didn't budge at all... And when declaring interest to my own division teams they laugh at me. So I guess it just looks good on your CV?

Went in the game to the awards section and checked manager of the year. There was my pic and stats and under it read 258 manager points. Second placed guy had 120 manager points and third placed had 30 manager points. So it could be that I have found the answer to my own question? Winning manager of the month awards gives you manager points that are calculated together at the end of the season with manager points gained from winning the league or cups etc. and then added up to see who wins the manager of the year award. But what does winning the manager of the year award give you? Reputation? LOL
