just wondering, are there any end of season awards that just club managers can vote for? We know international managers can vote for footballer of the year

There are in some countries, off hand I think Belgium does but there are plenty of others.

All I hope is that the awards actually make some sense. That doesn't sound much to ask, but it has been impossible for the last few versions, it seems.

was just having and a read and i was thinking was'nt there a old version of champiuonship manager that when you were international manager you got to vote for the would player of the year? or was that a different game completly , just it seem familar to me.

The awards sound very good and everything but they still don't appear to be functioning well, especially if performances in major competitions count more. I'm only basing this on the demo but in my game Thierry Henry won World Player of the Year and this is never going to happen (well not this year anyway) as I'm sure most Arsenal fans and everyone else would agree.

I;d rather have fewer, well functioning awards than many, many awards which seem random at best.

That was CM 03/04, IIRC.

Presumably, the game can only take into account the six months of playing time, so weights it in favour of reputation.

That's nowhere near as bad as some I've encountered in 07, such as a mid-range player at my bottom-half side being second as English Footballer of the Year when he barely made my First XI or my lack of recognition as Asian Manager of the Year despite success in major competitions.
