I've got a couple of messages saying that the boar dis considering not renewing my contract.

I've surpassed their expectations every season and done it under budget. I've made a profit year on year.

I narrowly missed out on the play-offs last season after being given an expectation of 'avoid relegation'

I've requested a new deal but they won't have any of it but they are currently happy with me!

What can I do!

Sadly confidence is useless IMO you just have to grit your teeth and hope your chairman isn't as moronic as he seems.

Up at the end of the season and just played my last game.

It happened to me before where I was building a young side and just misse dout on my target. they didn't offer me a deal and the replacement inhereted an excellent squad.

I had a similar experience. I exceeded all expectations, but the board was worried I was going to leave. There was even a short list drawn up! lol

They did re-new my contract though. About 2 or 3 weeks before it expired!

some time over this summer.

It's not that they think I might leave (I had that a couple of seasons ago. Never any chance of me not staying) but for some reason they don't think I've done a good enough job.

Everytime my contract is running out, it seems as though i have to ask for a new one, i am high on the hall of fame but it changes nothing.
