I think it's wrong.

Apparently, Manchester United are set to record profits of at least 60 million pounds, which will easily pay off the debt they have to pay this year.

Apparently, the Glazier family said that repayments to the financiers of their deal to buy the club, would have a "negligable" effect on the cashflow of the football club.

What this means in real terms, I doubt anyone but club officials, the Glaziers and the financiers, knows for certain.

The Madrid council brought the training ground for 100 million, then gave it back to them. I just doubt the manchester council could afford that

Well Real Madrid is Royal Madrid....They're the kings team.

I should imagine they will forever be the most sucessful club in the world.

It's also why they are widely resented in Spain. Those who don't support Real Madrid are more than likely "AntiMadridistas", as they like to be known here

Dont read to much into that if I were you. These profit reports are pre tax and do not include tranfers. They are only operating costs.

i think part of the issue with losing cash is that people are handing out contracts that they really cant afford. i have a really disciplined attitude when it comes to paying players. The alloted wage budget is not a reflection of how much you will really make and if you go to the limit of the wage budget you are almost guaranteed to go into debt.

I'm hoping that SI will have looked at this in time for the 8.0.2 patch release though...

I think they need to have a better look at the financial models in their game as there are a lot of anomolies.
