what do the patches actually do? is it worth having and how do i intstall it?

When you say patch do you mean the patch that updates and fixes the game, or do you mean a graphics patch, I ask as you've asked in the graphics forum.

If you mean the update patch, it fixes bugs the link will tell you exactly what it does and what it fixes, and shows you where to download it.

To install, download it double click it follow the instructions and your done.
