Open it with Notepad (or whatever Word Processor or Web Editor programs you have) not IE.

I know what the problem is here for people who follow those instructions literally. This bit, in the config file: to="graphics/pictures/person/2000002523/portrait" is the file path for where FM will look for the pictures, so, Step 3 of dafuge's instructions should read: 3. Save the two files and put them somewhere like CDocuments and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\graphics\pictures\person.

u dont need 2 go through all that!!!!!! just use the wizard and u can choose a picture form your my pictures folder! all this id stuff isnt needed
