Skin Creation in FM08

I've been creatign a skin (using FM07 to get the layout, etc. correct) for FM08. After moving the skin over, I've noticed a couple of things, as shown in this screenshot:

The small title font (calibrib, as used in Vista) appears to have gone a bit mental (I've switched to segoe, and that appears to work).
2. I don't know if it's intentional, but the game seems to have overriden some custom buttons with the defult ones (the continue button, plus the tactics and filter buttons in their 'clicked' views), also, the manager button (top right of screen) goes wrong after clicking on it and moving away).
3. Why have you taken the background logo issue from previous versions (not being able to to show a teams left background logo on the team page) and reversed it? (now you can't show the right side logo)

Fm 2007 skins won't work properly in FM 2008 and it wouldn't be a good idea (like you have found out) to try doing it.

For a start, FM 2008 handles otf fonts much better than ttf fonts, so you should use those where possible.

And some new images etc have been added and some might be in different locations.

The font issue seemed to be about the size I was using. 8 was fine, 9 and up look like the screenshot.

The button problem is more worrying, stuff like the continue buttons are in exactly the same place as before (according to what I've seen in panels.fmf), and the view, tactics and manager menu buttons are all fine when displayed and hovered mode, but show the default buttons when you click on them. How can the different modes for the same button be in different places? Unless the showing/navigated mode has been renamed?

They have been renamed. It's button_showing now
