which is better to have for potential ability, a high number (upto 200) or the minus numbers (down to -10), also is there any way of checking potential ability in game?
dont really know the difference.. but if his PA is 200, it cant get any higher.. but if someone could explain the difference between those -x and a specific number, i'm listening :-)
I'm not exactly certain however having used one of the very early champ manager editors which used minus values I managed to ascertain that it works on some sort of ratio basis, although the potentials are still random the higher the minus figure the more often the potential will be randomised higher, so working from this if a player has a -10 they are far more likely to be a quality player han one with a -1
Ok if you put PA to be 200 then it will be 200.
If you put it -10 then his PA will be RANDOM each time you start the game.
When i say random it means it will be anywhere between 170-200-PA.
If you put -9 his PA will be RANDOM between 140-170
