I'm an amateur programmer but I know how to open and read database content.

Does anyone have info about reading the DB SI used for FM?

I hope this isn't an illegal question. brrrr

The Programmers Oracle subforum has some classes for file layouts.

Thx Kris.

I’m not interested in creating another Genie or Mini Scout. Genie will be ready soon and Mini is serving another niche (currently the gap :p)

What I want to do is trying to create a better scout system as used in FM.

In my idea, it would use the capacities of your own team scouts.

It would be more or less the same system as in FM.

The difference is, that you will be able to compare against any other player and not only the best one of your team who’s playing at the same location.

I see it more as an assistance tool instead of a cheating tool.

Something to enhance the FM game experience.
